Endotis possesses unmatched expertise in the field of oligosaccharides of biological interest. With a superior understanding of the interactions between natural glycans and proteins, we can design libraries of novel small-glyco drugs that target growth factors involved in hematology, oncology, inflammation, and neurologic diseases.

We first select new oligosaccharidic chemical entities that are active on specific, validated targets known to interact with heparan-sulfate in pathological settings (i.e. growth factors, cytokines, chemokines and enzymes) then fine tune the structures to optimize their activity and bioavailability. From the onset, we design molecules that are scalable.

By assembling building blocks (sugar pairs) that create oligosaccharides with predictable activity, we reduce the overall development cost and the risk of failure since the candidates selected

(i) work on well-known targets,
(ii) are fully synthetic,
(iii) have predictable PK/PD profiles and thus
(iv) can move rapidly into preclinical and clinical development.

So far, we have generated proprietary libraries of original compounds with demonstrated in-vitro and in-vivo activities.
